I almost forgot about how strongly music affected me. I was feeling kind of down yesterday morning, but on the way to Adventuredome with everyone singing along to what came out of Brandon’s speakers made for an unexpectedly great ride. I thanked him for that. It was so nice to be away, knowing school was still moving forward without us. On the field trip, we got to be with people we’ve never really spent so much time with before. Twists were made on the usual activities that actually made us a team, and it was a great experience overall. I fell in love with my day. Basketball, bumper cars, multiple rides on the roller coaster, the most intense game of air hockey I’ve ever played, and laser tag—all with people who wanted to have as much fun as I did…Singing on the bus, dancing to k-pop with Randy, 4d adventures with the best teachers, rapping with Ben, and Kevin scolding me for it. Going back to school with only 3 minutes left to spare, venting while we head over to Durango and all of us having picked up from where we left off, helping Cindy and their StuCo put tinsel everywhere, talking to John about top secret things, eating with Teddybear and the Friday gang, laughing with Suzette while Martin played at the concert, having returned someone’s Hello Kitty thermos, illegally stuffing Alan’s car with everyone yelling at me for knowing every single song, walking around the Strip and taking stupid pictures by fountains and statues and the giant Christmas tree
